Joe Johnson was appointed to the Creek Nation supreme Court and served for 16 years. He was the youngest member to ever serve and was selected to be the chief Justice where he served for 10 years. Johnson was appointed by three different chiefs to the tribes highest court and was confirmed by the National council three times with only one dissenting vote out of the 36 member body.
